Unexpected error when verifying with My DMV app

I successfully installed the my dmv app and verified with my id and selfie. When logging into my CCC profile, I click on the option to verify with my dmv where the popup with the QR code appears. Whenever I scan the QR code (from my phone camera or the my dmv app directly), the page loads for a second and always redirects to a new “Unexpected Error” page with a red box. I’ve tried different browsers, private browser, have no VPN or popup blockers but nothing works. I already reached out to the dmv support team several times and they suggested the QR code may be broken. I need to register for classes ASAP please advise!!
