Application error

when I try to submit an application, I get an error saying my email cannot contain a period.

I used this email last week to apply at another CCC college and had no issues

  Hello Ivan,

  With Gmail, periods do not matter in your email addresses. Google ignores them entirely. This means that emails with periods in your Gmail are the exact same email addresses when the periods are removed. Users will continue to receive all of their email correspondence. Some of our colleges do not allow users to submit applications if they have periods in their Gmail email address. We recommend editing your email in your OpenCCC account to remove the periods. Once this is updated, you will be able to submit your enrollment application. Please let us know if you have any questions.
