First Name Imported Incorrectly After ID.me Verification
I recently created an OpenCCC account and linked it with ID.me.
After completing ID.me verification, I noticed that OpenCCC did not import my legal first name correctly. My first name contains a space, and the portion of the name after the space appears to have been omitted in OpenCCC.
My name appears correctly in my ID.me account, so the issue seems to have occurred when the information was imported into OpenCCC.
I am planning to apply to a California Community College soon and am concerned that this mismatch could affect my application, enrollment records, or identity verification.
I also cannot correct the name myself because editing the legal name would disconnect my ID.me verification and remove my verified status.
What is the recommended way to resolve this issue while maintaining my ID.me verification?
Thank you.

To avoid a name mismatch, I decided to correct the name in OpenCCC. The system warned that doing so would remove my ID.me verification status, but after the change, my account still shows as "Verified." Because of this, I am now unsure whether everything is functioning correctly behind the scenes, and I would appreciate any guidance on whether further action is needed.
