Applying to Open CCC
I am currently a 12th-grade student in Sacramento, and I was wondering if I could take Los Angeles Mission College classes just for the summer for educational development. Currently on the Open CCC application, there are only two options for terms: Summer and Fall 2025, and Spring 2025, and I am confused whether or not the Summer and Fall term binds you to take classes at the community college for Fall. Then I would transfer the Calculus 2 and Statistics credits to the college I am attending in Fall 2025, UC Riverside. In addition, could I take classes at two different community colleges that aren't in the same district?

Hi Yang Teh,
Each college's summer/fall semesters are often combined as one application. When you submit an application for summer/fall semester, this means if you want to attend summer classes you can do so. If you're going to start in fall, you can take classes during fall semester.
In regards to your other question, Yes, you can take classes at two different community colleges that are not within the same district.
