unexpected error

I am trying to apply to SMC for summer classes, I was able to fill out the form and verify my identify with ID.me but whenever it sends me back to the application it says unexpected error. What should I do

  Hi Alexa, 

  Unfortunately, ID.me does not have the correct link or connection set up on their end that can take you back to OpenCCC after you have logged into your ID.me account. As a result, you see the unexpected error message instead of the application. Please follow the steps below to begin your application and let me know if you have any other questions that I can help you with. 

  1.) Please begin at CCCApply.org
  2.) From the search bar on the left-hand side of the screen enter the college name you are applying to and click 'Apply'.
  3.) Click Sign and enter your email + password
  4.) After you sign in, you will be redirected to ID.me so click on "what if i can't verify with id.me" then click "decline" to get to the application
  5.) Click on Start a new application
