It says my email is being used already

I tried to log in and I was able to log in and change my password using my same email I used when I made my account in high school and when it took me to the page where it showed all my information when I tried to press save it said at the top that my email was already being used? I haven’t made any other accounts on here before I also don’t know how else to log in because it asks for my username but I don’t remember it, the only way I was able to log in was because I changed my password
