Set Up and Verify with DMV Wallet

1. Start in OpenCCC
   • Begin by creating a new OpenCCC account or signing into your existing one.
   • After login, you will be directed to the “Verify Your Identity” page.
2. 
   Verify Using DMV Wallet
   • Sign in or create a DMV Wallet account.
   • Confirm your name, date of birth, and California driver’s license information.
   • Works for both standard and AB 60 licenses.
   • Students under 18 must complete in-person verification at a DMV office with a guardian.
   • The DMV Wallet app will confirm verification once your information is approved.
3. Choose DMV Wallet
   • Select the DMV Wallet option to continue with identity verification.
   • A QR code will appear on your screen. Scan it with your phone to open DMV Wallet.
4. 
   Return to CCCApply
   • After successful verification, you will be automatically redirected to your CCCApply application.
   • If your session times out, log back into OpenCCC and continue your application.
   • Your OpenCCC profile will display a “Verified” status once complete.
